Florya’s shoreline, once an active public coastal zone, has in recent years lost its function under the pressure of urban development and transportation networks. This project aims to restore the area as a vibrant, accessible, and ecologically integrated public space.
The design strategy focuses on minimal intervention, aiming to create a permeable and continuous public zone between land and sea. The project seeks to restore both social and ecological connectivity by enhancing coastal accessibility.

The pedestrian-focused layout is enriched with bicycle lanes, walking paths, sports fields, thematic gardens, amphitheaters, event meadows, and viewing platforms, fostering an inclusive and layered urban experience.

Site Plan
The project prioritizes the continuity of green infrastructure and open public space. Platforms at varying levels stretch along the coast, providing users with flexible, layered access between the green and the sea.

Permeable ground surfaces support natural airflow and light, while the design incorporates ecological water management strategies and sustainable green systems.
All built structures – including cafés, shade pavilions, and viewing terraces – are conceived as lightweight, environmentally sensitive components made of wood and other natural materials.
